Gladys Ostlund Jacobson

Gladys Ostlund Jacobson, a lifelong Malta resident, died on August 3, 2017, in Great Falls, Mont.

Gladys was born to Levi and Marianne (Soennichsen) Ostlund in Forks, Mont., on July 5, 1932. At a young age, Gladys moved with her parents and brothers, Edward and Robert, to the Milk River Valley. She graduated from Malta High School, having shared many shenanigans with Lila Licht.

Gladys married Russell Jacobson on September 17, 1950, and they raised their family in the Malta area. She was a lifelong member of the Malta Lutheran Church. She was a familiar face at concerts and sporting events...
