Henry George Gladeau

Henry George Gladeau Sr., 78 of Burley, passed away on August 8, 2017, at his home with his daughter by his side. He was born on August 27, 1938, in Lodgepole, Mont., the son of James and Nora Gladeau.

He never completed high school, but went on to join the US Army at a very young age; he was only 16-years-old. Henry married Nora H. Combs in Montana in 1971. They later divorced.

Henry worked various jobs throughout his life. These jobs included being a carpenter, ranching, working in the oil fields, and working for the Burlington Northern Railroad.

He loved his trips to Jackpot, Nevada with his daughter, or going to any store that had electric carts so he could ride around.

Henry is survived by his three children, whom he was very proud of – Stacey Rush of Burley, Idaho, James (Denee) Gladeau of Taos, N.M., and Henry Gladeau Jr. of Nashua, Mont. He is also survived by grandchildren – Haylee of Twin Falls, Idaho, Mason of N.D., and Joey, Dylan and Jesse of Nashua, Mont., great grandson Zayveon of Twin Falls, Idaho, along with his brothers Joe (Donna) Gladeau of Shelby, Mont., Alvin Gladeau of Bakersfield, Calif., sisters – Darlene (Don) Probert of Polson, Mont., Belle (Ole) Light of Malta, Mont. He is also survived by a very special brother in law – Donald (Kathy) Hurlbert of Butte, Mont., and several nieces and nephews.
