On Tuesday, September 5, Curt and Pearl ruled the roost winning both games, 14-7 and 15-6.

“We came along and passed them,” Pearl said of the wins.

On Friday, September 8, Clara and Agnes dominated the day and won both games, 14-10 and 14-11.

“We were ahead and like a flash, they passed us by,” Pearl said.

Whist

On Tuesday, September 5, Malcolm Clouse scored a high of 5,740, Nina Jones scored the low with 4,880 and the traveling prize was awarded to the Clarences (Blunt and Jacobson.)

On Thursday, September 7, Shirley Jones was the high with 5,740, Nancey Soennichsen was low with 5,720 and the traveling prize was awarded to both Lou Olson and Harvey Smith.
