Harold Dale "HD" Hendrickson

ACO- Harold Dale "HD" Hendrickson, 80, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at his home.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, December 6, 11 a.m. at Saco Methodist Church with Military Honors to follow. A luncheon will be held afterward at the Church. Condolences to the family may be left at http://www.kirkwoodfuneralhome.com.

Harold was born May 16, 1937, to Harold J. and Ruth Hendrickson. At a young age, he joined the Army. After the Army; he married Winifred Caves. With this Union they had four children; Glenna, Buckley, Norris, and Sheila. They later divorced. HD then met Hazel Woodall where they made their home in Saco. He became father/friend to her children; Bonnie, Betty, Wayne, Kathy, and Joyce.

HD worked for G.D. Eastlick for many years and had a passion for farming. Working for Craig Burnham Custom Haying, swathing, baling, and stacking bales. He also was working for First Creek, running the scraper and hauling rock. If there was work to be done, you could always count on HD.

He loved to gopher hunt. You could always find him out in the field on his 4-wheeler or Razor as soon as spring arrived.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents: Harold & Ruth, first wife: Winifred, longtime companion: Hazel Woodall, and a brother: Gary Hendrickson.

He is survived by his children: Glenna Nieskens, Buck (Helen) Hendrickson, Norris Hendrickson, and Sheila Hendrickson. Sisters: Mary Jane (Russ) Hall, and Agnes (Don) Petersen, Hazel's children: Bonnie Bunk, Betty Plouffe, Wayne Woodall, Kathy Woodall and Joyce Simser. Additionally, he had 7 Grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
