Christine Krumback

Christine Krumback, age 41, of Yankton, S.D., died Monday, December 11, 2017, at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Memorial services were 2:00 p.m., on Friday, December 15, 2017 at the Wintz & Ray Funeral Home in Yankton with Reverend Ron Johnson officiating. The family received friends one hour prior to the memorial service.

Christine was born March 30, 1976 in Fort Belknap, Mont., to Darrold and Edith (Parenteau) Palmer. She grew up in Columbia Falls and Hungry Horse, Mont. The family moved to Live Oak, Calif., in 1987 and then to Yankton in 1992. She married Jason Krumback on August 25, 2014 in Yankton. Christine worked at Walmart in Yankton, Applied Engineering and Autumn Winds Assisted Living until 2016 when her health forced her to retire. Christine suffered from kidney failure and was receiving dialysis treatment several times a week. She was so strong through her treatment and was an inspiration to her family. She loved her son, Nathan, and he was the pillar of her life. Christine also cherished her nieces and nephews. She was the angel and protector of the family and now she is in God's Kingdom where she will continue to watch over them.

Christine is survived by her husband, Jason Krumback of Yankton; son, Nathan of Yankton; three brothers: Cleo (Tami) Dolphay, Bret Dolphay, and Darren (Jessica) Palmer, all of Yankton; one sister, Kathy (Kenny) Ereaux of Malta, Mont .; five nieces and nephews: Christopher and Matthew VanWinkle, Mason Ereaux, CJ Dolphay and Kerri (Calvin) Thompson; four great nieces and nephews: Kylie, Paxton, Alivia and Mya; one uncle, Donald (Joyce) Parenteau of Libby, Mont .; and several cousins.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents; Darrold and Edith Palmer; brother, Miles Dolphay; and sister, Kimberly Ann Palmer.
