M-ettes pick up first win

The Malta M-ettes were able to pick up their first win of the season, as they defeated Glasgow in Glasgow on Friday, January 12.

Malta lost a close one to Shelby on Saturday, January 13 in Malta. The score was 30-27, with Malta's last shot, a half-court buzzer beater coming from freshman Erica Smith, who lead Malta in scoring with 17 points and steals, racking up four coming off the bench.

Kloie Marks, a junior, scored nine points against Shelby. Kelbee Denham had seven points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals. Taylor Gilkerson had four points and five rebounds.
