January 17 was the Senior Dinner at the North 40 in Whitewater. The lady from the Council on Aging in Glendive was there to give information.

Also, after dinner, we had a birthday party for Patty Young and Pat Anderson. The party was hosted by Ree Simonson ,who served her famous angel food cake with strawberries. Later, Ree took Jim Murdock and me to Malta and I shopped and ran errands. Very nice, Ree.

There was a basketball game with Brockton last Friday. The Brockton team traveled so far as the town is down past Wolf Point and roads were icy and snow-packed. A salute to Brockton.

Sunday, January 21, there was the annual council meeting at Whitewater Lutheran Church followed by a delicious dinner. During church, Pastor Bob Nagy gave his “Hercamer” puppet act; very funny, yet informative.
