MMS Wrestlers in Havre

The Malta Middle School Wrestling Team fared well at the 2018 Havre Middle School Invitational Tournament on Saturday, February 24, for their first meet of the season.

Seventh and Eighth Graders:

Malta was led by Orin Mackey (150-pound class A), Cash Salsbery (165-pound class A), and Zac Judd (130-pound class B), who each took first place in their respective weight classes.

Shawn Gilkerson took second place in the 125-pound class A, Dre Oshio took second in the 150-pound class B, and Rex Williamson took second in the 165-pound class A.

Shane Soul took third in the 115-pound class A, Wyatt Judd took fourth in the 80-pound class A, Camryn Mears took fourth place in the 125-pound class A, Connor Tuss took fourth in the 140-pound class A, and Kaden LaBrie took fourth place in the 175-pound class B.

Cameron Mikesell took fifth place in the 100-pound class A, Spencer Gibbs took fifth in the 130-pound class A and Tye Jones took sixth place in the 125-pound class A.

Fifth and Sixth Graders:

Braydon Rhoads took second place in the 65-pound class, Colton Mears took second in the 110-pound class, Dylan Kinney took third in the 75-pound class, and Taylin Johannesen took third in the 105-pound class.

The Malta Middle School Wrestling team will wrestle in Lewistown on Saturday, March 3.
