Ron Lundman took top honors last week with 39 points, one better than Von Holzhey who took second place. The traveling prize was awarded to Margaret Leader.

Pinochle

Hi-man last week was Lou Olson who amassed a total of 7,350 points. Lee Stevens took second place with 6,840 and the traveling prize was awarded to both Ken Ruzicka and Al Kroll.

Malta Duplicate Bridge

On Wednesday, March 7, Margo Rush and Malcolm Clouse captured first place. Lois Goodheart and Madelyn Anderson shared second place with Bonnie Millar and Bob Maxie.

Monday winners were Cathy Salsbery and Margo. Malcolm and Bob tied for second with Lois and Madelyn.

Hi-Line Whist

On Tuesday, March 13, Lois and Clara won the opening match 16-7, and in the final match, Agnes and Pearl were victors by a 15-7 mark.

"We were all good as we each earned one," Pearl said.

On Friday, March 16, Francis and Pearl found early success with a 13-9 win before Clara and Agnes won the latter two, 16-6 and 14-3, to take the day.

"We thought we had it until they got hot and left us in the dust," Pearl said.
