One Nation, Under God

Loring News for March 21, 2018

My brother in Arizona asked if some pieces of grass were poking through the snow yet. Another friend from Alaska asked if the ground was still frozen. Also our paleontologist Cary ordered some stuff to be delivered to the Great Plains Dinosaur Museum, not realizing that the snow was as deep as the benches, and the back door was snowed in! People think it should be spring here, and it just isn't here yet. But it will be, it will be!

Beau Simonson attended the prom in Malta on Saturday with a young lady from Scobey. Trace Simonson attended the Plentywood prom with a young lady from there. Everyone was beautiful and I'm sure they had a good time! Trace spent Thursday and Friday in Billings at the Senior Classic basketball tourney.

Most of the fourth-ninth graders were in the JJMT in Glasgow on Saturday and Sunday. I'm sure they played their little hearts out.

For St. Patrick's Day It was my maiden attempt at corn beef and cabbage. It turned out quite good. I also had a few lemons and I made my great grandmothers recipe for lemon butter. Yum, I haven't made it for about 20 years! So I had a few things that were new. Oh, and on Sunday I made Tater tot casserole which I've never made before either! It was tasty!

Loring Lutheran Church will hold services on March 25 for Palm Sunday! And then on April 1, we will have a brunch with Easter celebration at 9 a.m.!

The roads were pretty slushy this week and my garage floor will attest to the amount on the undercarriage of my car!
