Dodson School announces students of the Month

Dodson School is pleased to announce the Students of the Month for March of the 2017-18 school year.

Kindergarten: Zaya Stiles is a small kindergarten girl with a BIG personality. She is delightful to have in our classroom. Zaya has very good insight to most subject areas. Her classmates respect her and look forward to her ideas. Her teachers say she is a respectful and polite girl.

1st Grade: Danielle James is the selection for the 1st grade. She has improved on her reading fluency, she tries hard on her school work and she loves school! She is very respectful to her teacher and peers and outgoing.

2nd / 3rd Grade: Kaiya Doney has grown immensely. She is currently working above level in both Reading and Math. She completes all of her assignments on time and to the best of her ability. She is a kind person and makes her classmates laugh. She is such a joy to have in class!

4th / 5th Grade: Junior Stiffarm continually gets his work done, and I can count on not having to hound him to get it handed in. He sets the bar for work performance and helps lead many learning discussions while making sure everyone is included in the discussion. Academic excellence is his forte.

6th Grade: Shaylee Decelles participates in all activities and has good attendance.

7th Grade: Lindsey Fetter has good attendance, been working hard to keep up and understand material.

Ithay Heck always tries really hard. She is pleasant in class and smiles often.

8th Grade: Treyten Stiffarm has shown much growth the past weeks. He cares about the quality of work he is doing, and he is striving to get it handed in on time. I hope he continues to work hard because it is a delight to see. He is putting forth much more effort in his assignments.

9th Grade: Landon James has worked hard to get all of his work done and strives to do better and better. He is always polite and respectful and on task.

Ireland Best because she volunteers in class quite a bit. She has improved her work ethic in math.

10th Grade: Christina Jaynes because she follows directions the first time. She works hard to understand material.

11th Grade: Shontelle TalksDifferent gets what she needs to get done, and she gets in done in a timely manner and does outstanding work. She is very organized and prepared for class. Shontelle is a natural born leader and is willing to guide her peers in a good direction.

Shania KillEagle because she works ahead on her assignments. She works hard to make up missed work due to absences beyond her control.

12th Grade: Paul Doney has gone above and beyond this last month trying his best to get himself and his siblings to school on time every day. His attitude has completely changed and he’s a go getter. He's very dedicated to his education at this point in time. It’s impressive to see such a thing. He tries to emulate his designated Shakespeare character the best that he can. He makes a solid effort to participate in class.
