One Nation, Under God

Arlene "Babes" Trottier Crasco

Arlene "Babes" Trottier Crasco, born October 16, 1942, passed peacefully on April 18, 2018, with her sons, grandchildren, sister, and other family at her side. She kept her humor and feisty spirit all the way through.

About three years ago, Babes received some bad health news-but she decided she was going to live life to the fullest. So she got busy living and traveled to South America with her "Cowboy" George, spent time in Missouri with her sister, and continued to help care for her grandson Walter.

Babes married Will Crasco in 1963; they later divorced but remained friends for the rest of their lives. They had three children, Rena, Dale, and David, and always had a houseful of extras, because of her love for others and her belief that "there's always room for another." This was demonstrated most when her grandchildren arrived; she loved, loved, loved her grandchildren.

Although she moved to Billings, she often returned to Malta to spend time with friends and family. Family was one of the most important values to her, so she always took time in her travels to look up a family member and have a cup of coffee with them. Babes was known for her big, giving heart, but that big heart finally gave out.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Alice Doney; dad, Max Trottier; brother, Pat "Sonny" Trottier; sisters Matilda, Clara Jean, and Maxine Trottier Schwartz; nephew Scott Trottier; nieces Kari Lovejoy Cash and Patty Reilly; and beloved daughter Rena Crasco Florcik.

Babes is survived by one sister, Candee Baker; sons Dale and David (Rawnie) Crasco; son-in-law Vincent Florcik; her grandchildren, Zachary, Michael, Neala, Christen, and Walter; one great-grandson, Jackson Micheal Crasco; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to AutismSpeaks.org.
