On Tuesday, May 8, high was Buck Taylor with a total of 63, second was Ron Lundman at 54 and the traveling prize was awarded to Jerry Depute.

Pinochle

Sherman Doucette notched 7,340 in pinochle to take first place, Jerry Depute was second with 5,730 and the traveling prize went to Sherman Doucette.

Hi-Line Whist

On Tuesday, May 8, Francis and Clara won the first match by a 13-9 tally before Don and Lori won the second by a 13-4 score.

"They were all great as they outdid each other," Pearl said.

On Friday, May 11, Pearl and Agnes won the first set by a score of 16-8 over Clara and Lois before the teams were reshuffled and the due of Pearl and Francis captured victory in the next two contests, 14-8 and 13-8, making Pearl a three-time winner on the day.

"We just got really good cards and did a lot of setting them," Pearl reports.
