May 26, 2018

12:47 a.m. Deputy reported an altercation that may occur outside of a local tavern; situation taken care of without further incident.

2:18 a.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Malta area.

2:44 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a female in extreme pain in Zortman; Deputy and local EMT Crew responded to the call; family member located and advised to cancel the ambulance, female was okay and if needed medical assistance they would call back.

3:01 a.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.

5:17 a.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Malta area.

9:40 a.m. Reserve Deputy performed campground checks in the Nelson Reservoir area.

10:50 a.m. Significant Weather Advisory for northeastern Phillips Co until 1145am; dime sized hail and 40mph winds are possible.

11:25 a.m. Deputy released one adult male, Arron Riggs, from PCSO Jail on bond; given Notice to Appear in Justice Court.

11:35 a.m. Significant Weather Advisory for northeastern Phillips Co until 1230pm; nickel sized hail and 40mph winds are possible.

7:27 p.m. Female reported a transient in Saco; Reserve Deputy responded to the call; male found to have been checked out and was okay.

8:49 p.m. Reserve Deputy performed a welfare check on a vehicle alongside of Hwy 2; all found to be okay, driver just stopped to rest.

9:37 p.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Dodson area.

10:09 p.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Malta area.

11:40 p.m. Ft Belknap LE requested assistance with locating an individual from the Malta area; individual later located by Ft Belknap.

12:20 a.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Malta area.

1:29 a.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Malta area.

9:07 a.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with a road being blocked; BLM Ranger handled the call.

9:47 a.m. Female reported 3 dogs running loose in a residential area; information passed onto ACO.

9:50 a.m. Female reported a stray dog at her residence; information passed onto ACO.

1:44 p.m. Male reported a herd of horses missing from his property; information passed onto Livestock Inspector.

4:29 p.m. Male reported possibly stolen livestock; information passed onto Fergus Co SO.

7:07 p.m. 911 received reporting kids driving without licenses headed to the Hays area; information passed onto Ft Belknap LE.

8:20 p.m. Reserve Deputy performed building security checks in the Dodson area.

9:12 p.m. Reserve Deputy reported a vehicle in the ditch, Hwy 2, just west of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay, tow truck called to pull the vehicle out of the marsh; case file started.

10:58 p.m. Male reported a missing puppy; caller later advised puppy had been located.

11:14 p.m. Male reported his neighbor’s dogs have been barking all night; this is the 3rd day in a row; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be quiet on several patrols through the area.

May 28, 2018

12:07 a.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Malta area.

12:59 a.m. Reserve Deputy performed security checks in the Sleeping Buffalo area.

1:33 a.m. Reserve Deputy performed security checks in the Saco area.

6:57 a.m. Undersheriff reported a vehicle alongside of Hwy 2, west of Malta, with a flat tire; no one was around the area.

10:42 a.m. Local business reported kids behind the business and would like them removed; Undersheriff responded to the call; juveniles not located in the area.

12:41 p.m. Undersheriff, local Fire Dept and Ambulance reported to the downtown area for the Memorial Day Parade.

2:25 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with a male in Saco that was acting “crazy”; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.

3:03 p.m. Undersheriff transported one adult male, Travis Plouffe, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on DUI-Felony charges.

4:00 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a male who had a possible stroke; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

4:17 p.m. Reserve Deputy performed campground checks in the Nelson Reservoir area.

6:01 p.m. Female reported two erratic vehicles on Hwy 243, towards the Sleeping Buffalo; Reserve Deputy responded to the call; vehicles not located.

8:43 p.m. 911 received reporting vehicles speeding “through the weigh station”; Deputy responded to the call; vehicles located and were not speeding.

9:08 p.m. Female reported individuals setting sky lanterns off near the Malta Cemetery; Deputy responded to the call; individuals located and advised to stop.

9:50 p.m. Reserve Deputy performed security checks in the Sleeping Buffalo area.

10:26 p.m. Female reported juveniles “playing in the alley” behind a business; Deputy responded to the call; no juveniles located in the reported area.

11:16 p.m. Ft Belknap LE reported they received a report of a female “passed out” on Bear Gulch Road; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

May 29, 2018

12:27 a.m. Deputy transported one adult female, Jonnie Potter, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on Disorderly Conduct charges.

2:11 a.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Malta area.

3:13 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from noon to 8pm today.

7:00 a.m. Local business reported a possible theft of property; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.

9:19 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 8pm today.

11:15 a.m. Undersheriff released one adult female, Jonnie Potter, from PCSO Jail on own recognizance.

12:37 p.m. Out of County Nurse requested PCSO assistance with a patient who was suicidal; Undersheriff responded to the call; family members later transported the individual to the PC Hospital for medical evaluation.

2:49 p.m. Phillips Co Commissioners advised the North Dodson Rd and Sun Prairie Rd are now open; Exeter Creek Rd is closed.

4:15 p.m. Male reported a CRP fire, north of Wagner; local Fire Dept responded to the call; fire later controlled and extinguished.

5:14 p.m. Male reported he had been cut off by a vehicle near the Underpass; caller hung up before all information could be taken; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle not located.

5:16 p.m. Male reported a disabled vehicle and trailer on Hwy 2, west of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay, just waiting for help to come back to their location.

5:41 p.m. Female reported she was out of power and wanted to know if it was due to the fire; caller advised it was possible.

6:56 p.m. Valley Co SO served a local warrant on one adult male, Christopher Embree; male later incarcerated in Valley Co Detention Center.

7:51 p.m. Female reported damage to her vehicle when another vehicle “peeled out” in front of the caller; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

7:56 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory is canceled.

9:39 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a female who was bleeding profusely; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

11:11 p.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Malta area.

May 30, 2018

8:17 a.m. Malta School employee reported an abandoned vehicle in their parking lot; Deputy responded to the call; owner located and advised to move the vehicle.

11:23 a.m. Deputy transported one adult male, Travis Plouffe, from PCSO Jail to Valley Co Detention Center to serve time.

12:37 p.m. Deputy transported 3 adult males, Ryan Kovach, Michael Kelsey, and Christopher Embree, from Valley Co Detention Center to PCSO for District Court and Justice Court appearances.

1:27 p.m. Flash Flood Watch in effect from Thursday afternoon thru late Thursday night for southwest Phillips Co.

1:34 p.m. Special Weather Statement: Strong Thunderstorms being tracked from Whitewater to southeast of Malta; dime sized hail and 30mph gusts are possible.

2:19 p.m. Significant Weather Advisory for northeastern Phillips Co until 315pm; dime sized hail and 30mph gusts are possible.

3:01 p.m. Undersheriff released one adult male, Michael Kelsey, from PCSO Jail on time served.

5:39 p.m. Male reported a missing dog; dog later located by caller.

5:51 p.m. Female reported another female had been assaulted; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

7:25 p.m. Flood Advisory for west central Phillips Co until 1015pm.

8:05 p.m. Deputy transported two adult males, Ryan Kovach and Christopher Embree, from PCSO Jail back to Valley Co Detention Center to serve time.

9:15 p.m. Significant Weather Advisory for eastern Phillips Co until 1015pm; 40mph gusts are possible.

9:18 p.m. Valley Co Detention released one adult male, Christopher Embree, on time served.

9:22 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with removing a male from her residence; Deputy responded to the call; male left the location on his own accord.

9:51 p.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Dodson area.

10:06 p.m. Significant Weather Advisory for southeastern Phillips Co until 11pm; 50-55mph gusts are possible.

May 31, 2018

1:16 a.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Malta area.

3:09 a.m. Flash Flood Watch remains in effect from noon through late tonight for southwest Phillips Co.

5:31 a.m. Deputy performed a welfare check on an individual in a vehicle near a local business; all found to be okay, just resting.

7:15 a.m. Female reported the local transient was on the bridge blocking traffic; Deputy responded to the call; individual not on the bridge upon arrival.

9:48 a.m. Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until late tonight for southwest Phillips Co.

1:24 p.m. Male reported a stray dog in his yard; ACO handled the call.

1:54 p.m. Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until late tonight for southwest Phillips Co.

2:15 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with suspicious activity in the Zortman area; Deputies handled the call.

3:54 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with a suspicious vehicle behind her building and a garage door that was found to be opened; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay and no one around the location.

3:56 p.m. Male reported a “weird” call received on his cell phone; Deputy handled the call.

5:41 p.m. Female reported a “vicious dog had attacked her dog”; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

6:23 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with a trespassing issue; Deputy handled the call.

10:56 p.m. Female reported “smelling weed” coming from a neighbor’s apartment; Deputy responded to the call; no smell located in the caller’s apartment, neighbor’s or outside.

June 1, 2018

12:41 a.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Malta area.

1:08 a.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Wagner/Hwy 363 area.

1:31 a.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Dodson area.

2:48 a.m. Royal Mounted Canadian Police Officer requested assistance with Ports of Entry; local Border Patrol Agent handled the call.
