Town of Saco Job Opening - Public Works Operator

The town of Saco is looking to fill the position of Public Work s Operator immediately.

Qualified applicant must be gas qualified within 60 days of employment and water/wastewater qualified within the first year of employment. Applicant will be on call every other weekend. Starting hourly wage of $17.00/hr with a $1.00 raise each for gas and water/wastewater certification.

Qualified applicant must be able to meet a 30-minute call time and obtain their CDL within 6 month s of employment.

This position is permanent and full-time with health care benefits, including pension with some overtime. Applicant will also be required to pass a substance screening along with a criminal background check prior to employment.
