Joshua Otteson, son of Malta's Andrew and Barbara Otteson, recently secured a grant for $23,874 for the Palm Springs Unified School District's Physical Education Department. Otteson, a Malta High School grad from the Class of 1996, was named Teacher of the Year for Cahuilla Elementary School in 2017.

Otteson secures $24k grant for PE Department in Palm Springs

Newkirk inducted into AIFD

Philip and Dawn Newkirk of Concrete, Wash., at the American Institute of Floral Design on July 2 in Washington D.C. where Dawn was inducted as a new member of the Institute. Dawn is the daughter of Landusky's Lorraine Seaford. The following day, Dawn was asked to make a floral arrangement which appeared at The White House.
