    We are continuing our informal Grief Support Group by having gatherings once a month. The first Wednesday of the month we will meet at 6:30 to 7:30 at Dianne Salsbery’s residence beginning in October. Our once a month meeting will provide support for those who have lost a loved one, family member or friend. Our meetings are very informal and you are never pressured to share.     Our morning Grief Support Group at the Senior Center is being pleasantly attended. We have planned a night time activity on Oct 23 at 6:30 to 8ish in the conference room in the basement of the hospital. NO morning group that day. We have Becca Holmquist coming to share with us some relaxation therapy for our activity night. We also plan to FARKLE around abit after the talk.!!! Some people have come forward to ask if we would sponsor an evening group as they are unable to come during the day time. We say YES and we will meet on Wed evenings...

  • Grief support group to start in Malta this fall

    We will be starting up an informal (some discussion and some instruction) grief support group this fall. Our once a week meeting is to provide support for those who have lost a loved one. It will be held at the Malta Senior Citizen Center on Wednesday mornings from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. beginning the 25th of September. By educating ourselves, by sharing our experience and learning about grief we are able to better deal with our loss.
