    Veterans of Foreign Wars Buster Deo Post 4067 held the election of officers for the 2024-2025 year, on Tuesday evening at the April meeting of the organization. Commander Derek Oshio will retain his office at the top position, and will be assisted by Mickey Mecklenberg as Senior Vice Commander, and Junior Vice Commander will be Keith Green.     The American Legion Auxiliary Juniors of Malta Post 57 have added a new project this year as part of their service to the men and women who have served in the military. This year they are preparing small packets of seeds for an annual flower, the "Forget Me Not." The small plastic bags contain seeds and planting instructions.
