Nestled on the west side of the county, Dodson School District has two school board positions that are up for election this year. Currently, the positions are held by Bonnie Lankford and Lisa Campbell. The Phillips County Clinic welcomes a new face to their staff, that of Lori Harvey. She is married to Bill Harvey, a Nurse Practitioner, who recently worked at the clinic for a year and a half. Harvey is from Gilford, Montana, and in addition to her NP work, she has extra training in the field of psychiatric medications. She will be at the clinic two days in a row every week. Sommer Green, a student at Whitewater High School, was selected to represent the VFW Post 4067 Auxiliary in the Get Excited for the Red, White and Blue singing contest. The American Legion Auxiliary Juniors of Malta Post 57 have added a new project this year as part of their service to the men and women who have served in the military.
