Malta Elementary School held its end of the year Accelerated Reading awards assembly recently and 165 students earned the right to spin the wheel for prizes. Prizes are donated from Malta businesses including: Dairy Queen, Westside Food Court, Horizon Resources, Valley Drug, Stretch's, Albertson's and Joes In & Out. Malta Masons Lodge #57, gave away 4 bikes, in the 14th annual Books for Bikes Giveaway recently at Malta Elementary School. Mark Kunze, Mason member along with other Masons came to school and gave away four bicycles and helmets to fourth and fifth graders. This is a national project of Masons across the United States.
