Through a very generous grant to the State of Montana from the Helmsley Charitable Trust in February of 2020, every law enforcement vehicle in the state of Montana will be equipped with an automated external defibrillator (AED). On Monday, April 6, 2020, it was discovered that the east set of bathrooms at Trafton Park sustained substantial damage to them when an unknown vehicle struck the structure. The damage is such that the entire building will have to be demolished. It's unclear when the damage occurred. On Friday, April 17, 2020, at approximately 0113 hours, Phillips County Sheriff's Office dispatch received a phone call from Fort Belknap Tribal Police requesting assistance with a highspeed pursuit which had just crossed into Phillips County on Route 66 near Landusky. In the early morning of 08/20/2019 there was a vehicle crash located about 2 miles west of Dodson, a short distance west of the Milk River Bridge, on the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation, in Phillips County. On the evening of Tuesday, July 30, the Phillips County Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center received a phone call from the Fort Belknap Police dispatch stating their officers were in a pursuit with a vehicle at speeds up to 110-miles per hour heading east on US Highway 2 towards Phillips County.
