The Malta Track and Field teams competed at the Sidney Invitational and in Glasgow for the Jean Dreikosen Memorial last Saturday. The Mustangs tied for tenth place amongst 18 teams in the men's event with 16 points. The M-ettes were twelfth out of 18 teams with 15 points in the women's event. The Saco Panthers and Lady Panthers competed at the Sidney Invitational last Saturday, April 20, while the Dodson Coyotes and Lady Coyotes competed at Hinsdale's Jean Dreikosen Memorial (JDM) in Glasgow. All three Phillips County Class C schools were able to get points on the board at the Cal Wearley Memorial Meet held by North Star in Havre last Wednesday, April 10. Another large event that the Extension office holds annually is the Jim Schumacher Day event.
