    The USDA Demonstration Garden on the Aaniiih Nakoda College Campus held its annual garden tours, where community members were educated, gifted organic vegetables and fed a delicious lunch, and some were lucky enough to win wonderful prizes.     Mark your calendar! The annual “FREE” ANC Demonstration Garden Tours will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2015. There are four separate tours. The first tour starts at 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and the second tour will begin at 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Then on Thursday, September 2, 2015 two separate tours from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. After each tour, participants will be treated to a “Healthy Taste Meal” and door prizes.   • NTWC assists Fort Belknap water treatment plant

    The National Tribal Water Center has been working with the Fort Belknap Water Treatment Plant. The NTWC is a non-profit organization that believes in using the water the region has, and utilizes holistic approaches in making the water better for the community and its members.     The 2015 Aaniiih Nakoda College Commencement Ceremony was a wonderful honoring of the 38 graduates. Angela McLean, Montana’s 31st Lieutenant Governor gave a very inspiring speech directed to the graduates. She graciously thanked all who were present to celebrate the graduate’s accomplishments.
