    The Missoula Children's Theatre made its 25th consecutive trip to Malta last week and capped the week-long visit (which included many hours of rehearsal for Malta's students) with two performacnes of 'The Secret Garden.' All told, a total of 57 students from Malta Elementary and Middle Schools took part in the play and two-day total attendance of 481 was tallied.     According to Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, a wolf was legally harvested Jan. 7, 2019, by a local hunter near Glasgow in Valley Co. FWP officials have inspected and tagged the animal. This is the first wolf to be harvested in Region 6, which is part of wolf management unit 400, since wolves were removed from the endangered species list in Montana in 2011.     Once again the students of Malta Elementary School are collecting the pull tabs from the tops of aluminum cans. The tabs will be collected by the Kiwanis on Thursday, January 17. If you have any pull tabs, please take them to the school or give them to a student to take to their class. There is a competition between classes to see who collects the most tabs.     Apologies for the inappropriately placed opinion column and the disarray that is our new office, two doors down from the last spot, grand opening pending.
