The North Country Lady Mavericks basketball team picked up a couple of wins this past weekend, extending their regular season record to 11-0. The Malta Wrestling teams had a total of three placers at the 64th Annual Cowboy Invitational and one placer at the Second Annual Cowgirl Invitational last weekend in Miles City. Surrounded by his family, Malta High School senior Elijah "Eli" Hanson, a Mustang football standout last fall, revealed that he will continue his football career as a member of the Dickinson State University Blue Hawks.
