The Malta Mustangs' hopes to defend their 2017 State B Title in this year's State Tournament were dashed last Friday, February 23, in Glasgow. The season ended for the North Country Mavericks last Friday, February 23, in Wolf Point, as the team fell to the Mon-Dak Thunder in the elimination round of the 2018 Eastern C Divisional Tournament. The Malta Middle School Wrestling Team fared well at the 2018 Havre Middle School Invitational Tournament on Saturday, February 24, for their first meet of the season.
