    HARLEM-Marvin Lloyd Potter, 71 passed away in his sleep, March 14, 2017 at Peace Hospice in Great Falls with his loving sister, Kelly Taylor at his side. A celebration of his life will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 25 at the Glasgow V.F.W. Post 3107. There will be sharing of stories and Military Honors. Lunch will follow the services.     Lois May (Coulter) Poulton died expectantly on March 14, 2017, at her home in Lockwood. She lived a very full life right up until the end. Lois was born June 19, 1924, in Werner, N.D. to Joseph S and Eva May Coulter. At a young age she moved to Jordan with her Mom and siblings and was raised in the Brusett Community with her family combined with the Swanser family.     With the fall moisture, there was lots of green vegetation produced. This “green bridge” is a good reservoir for wheat curl mites which harbor wheat streak mosaic virus. Producers are encouraged to allow for a good green up in the spring before planting cereal grains.     The Malta Cheerleaders not only participated in their first competition, CheerFest last weekend in Lewistown, the team was able to tie for second in the Class B Cheer Team category.     The Malta Middle School Wrestlers hosted their home meet last Thursday evening at the Old Gym with close to 300 in attendance. The event hosted several teams including Chinook, Harlem, Havre, Glasgow, Lewistown and Hays. The event featured new technology, including two new digital scoreboards that were operated by members of the Malta High School Wrestling team.     Malta Parks and Recreation has introduced several new ways for the community to stay active. Last Tuesday, March 14, in Malta’s City Council Meeting, directors Natalie Judd and Julia Tatafu presented the council with a few things that are happening in the spring months.     The NCCA March Madness Men’s Basketball Tournament will mean a little more to local businesses and the PC Health-Care Foundation this season as an auction raised $1,985 last Tuesday. The annual fundraiser and bidding war was held at the Lucky Bullet, with over 30 in attendance. The auctioneering was donated by local auctioneer Darrell Carney.
