We had 5 groups scheduled from Canada and 3 from United States, including Tim Lovelace. We looked forward to great gospel music, performances that blessed, and some that could cause belly splitting laughter, all family friendly and most with a gospel message for all. • A sign that spring is here

    Parker Heinlein, Outdoors Columnist|Mar 24, 2021

It must be spring. The first grizzly bear of the year has emerged from hibernation in Yellowstone Park. I’m sure I ran into his relatives years ago. Grizzlies, more than any other animal, are a hallmark of wild country to me. I love knowing there’s still a critter out there that just might stalk and eat me. The first grizzly I saw in the park was at a distance. He was ambling through the sagebrush while I watched from the relative safety of a stand of trees a couple of hundred yards away. It was...

Mostly rock and metal concerts, but I have gone to a handful of country shows as well. I’ve seen most of my favorite bands, Kiss, Metallica, Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, Tesla, but there are a few I would still like to see whi...
