    Last September, the Montana Farm Bureau announced its 'Ag in Color' Drawing Contest for 2021 as part of their Montana Youth Agriculture Literacy program. The contest consisted of seven entry categories and is designated for students in kindergarten through sixth grade. The categories include areas specific to Montana Agriculture and are different for each grade.     City Council Meeting The Malta City Council held its bi-weekly meeting at City Hall on Tuesday, March 23, at 5 p.m. All councilpersons, James Sintler, William Hicks, Bonnie Wiederrick and David Rummel, were in attendance. As was Mayor John Demarais and City Clerk/Treasurer Lorie Bond.     Phillips County Museum curator, Lori Taylor, said the museum is ready to be open on April 1, 2021. The hours for this year are 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Ten students entered projects ranging from collections displayed by younger students, to descriptions of processes in nature, and others showed experiments utilizing the scientific method.     A small treasure was found in the backyard of a local Malta residents’ house. This person has asked to remain unnamed at this time. At least until the “treasure” has been looked at by an antiquities dealer and the item has been deemed authentic.
