    Mark Hebert, Publisher|Apr 12, 2017

    Mark Hebert, Publisher|Apr 12, 2017

Saco School’s Superintendent Wade Sundby hosted a meeting with Saco taxpayers recently to explain why the School District is asking voters to approve a $200,000 mill levy to help support the schools following at least 18-months of declining gas tax revenue. “Our current problem is simple,” Supt. Zach Brown, D-Bozeman, House Bill 631 would repay up to half of a farmer’s student loans if he or she commits to farming or ranching for a minimum of five years. Student loan debt is a big issue facing our economy in general,” Brown said. “It’s holding back young professionals.” Brown said the issue is particularly relevant to the agriculture industry, which he...

The first animal I saw here was the controversial Buffalo. Somewhere around Fort Peck, my then fiancée Susan and I were on a double date with her parents and we pulled up to an ar...
