I got out with the dogs last week for our first long walk of the year. A couple of us are showing our age. Evelyn (Murdock) and Lyle Hanson’s three girls, Cindy Hanson, Lori Haugen, and Joni Lynn from North Dakota traveled through very bad weather to come to Montana on Friday to visit relatives. What a delight to listen to the Whitewater students at the spring concert on Tuesday! The elementary classes sang songs from Broadway and the older students performed their pieces from the district festival! Very fun to listen to! The family of Evelyn Murdock visited Whitewater recently. There was a school concert at the Whitewater school on Tuesday. All the music was very good. Sommer Green sang Shenandoah, which was very beautiful. Many students are in various sports. Rory Green plays golf in Malta. The track team is getting in shape. The Malta Golf Team was busy last week, participating in four meets as the offseason fast approaches. These meets included the Glasgow Invitational and the Malta Athletic Club Invitational which happened on Friday, April 28, and Saturday, April 29 respectively. The Malta Mustang and M-ette track teams traveled to Glasgow last Tuesday, April 25, for the Glasgow Northeast Montana Makeup Meet.
