    The Malta M-ettes took second place as a team in the 2017 District 2B Track Meet last Friday, May 13 in Wolf Point with a total of 152. Glasgow won the meet with 197 points, while Wolf Point took third with 65.5, Harlem took fourth with 48.5 and Poplar took fifth with 45.     The Dodson, Saco and Whitewater track teams each had placers in the 2017 District 3C Track Meet last Saturday in Wolf Point. The Scobey Spartans took first place with a total of 258.5. The Nashua Porcupines took second with 63.5. The Whitewater Penguins took third with 48. The Frazer Bearcubs and Hinsdale Raiders tied for fourth with 46 points each. Saco was sixth with 32 points.     The Malta Mustangs took fourth place at the 2B District Track Meet in Wolf Point last Saturday, May 13. Glasgow won the meet with 244 points. Wolf Point took second with 117.5, Harlem was third with 100.5 points and Poplar took fifth with 12 points. The Mustangs scored 49 points at the meet and were led by senior Jace Bishop, who placed third in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:11.84, a season best.     The Women’s District 3C Track Meet is in the books and all three Phillips County teams will have athletes in the Eastern C Divisional this Saturday. Scobey won the 3C meet held in Wolf Point with 200 points. Frazer took second with 68 points. Saco took third with 57.     Last Year’s Color Fun Run featured 98 runners of all ages and was such a success that Malta Parks and Recreation decided to bring it back on Saturday, June 3, Malta’s busiest day of the year.
