    Glenn Flatt, retired teacher, and coach with Malta Public Schools passed away on Thursday, June 1, in Butte, Montana. Coach Flatt was 81 years old.     alta's City Pool became the site for lifeguard training on Thursday, May 25. The two-day course trained eight lifeguards. The crew was trained by Cindy LaMere, a Lifeguard Instructor Trainer from the Harlem / Fort Belknap area. Typically LaMere would have done the training in Harlem, but Malta's pool is unique.     The State of Montana vs. Austin Adams Austin Adams pleaded not guilty to custodial interference, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, at his initial appearance in Phillips County District Court according to court documents filed on May 17.     Over the Memorial weekend, you may have noticed something new at Malta Cemetery. The local Malta Order of Eastern Star, Sacajawea Chapter #37 placed silver star emblems on the headstones of past woman members. The star emblems were discovered a little worse for wear in the basement of the Malta Masonic Hall. It was unknown to current members when the emblems were last used. USA Baseball is looking to boost the number of athletes that come out of the Mountain West region by re-invigorating their NTIS, National Team Identification Series, and program. Russell and UL Bend National Wildlife Refuges in Montana.
