The 4H and FFA Beef Show featured 27 participants and entries at the 2018 PC Fair. Though the total entries at this year's Phillips County Fair Open Class are down a bit from last year, the contest continues to ride a resurgence which started at 2015's 100th fair in Dodson and continues to delight fair-goers. Another Phillips County Fair has come and gone and what comes next, though exciting in their own rights, sort of depress me. Phillip H. Perry passed away on August 3, 2018, at his home in Missoula. Phil was born on December 7, 1923, to Phillip and Amalia Perry. He was raised and educated in Malta, MT. He served in the United States Army from 1943-1946. Garrett Powell ended up in a familiar spot last Saturday, August 4. The fumes of motor oil, radiator fluid and and various other liquids left a steam cloud over the Phillips County Grandstands and it the end of the show, a first place trophy. His third P.C.
