    The Malta Athletic Club Cross Country Invitational featured changes to the annual meet's course, and strong showing from the M-ettes. The M-ettes took third place as a team with 124 points.     The North Country Mavericks headed east to the Froid / Medicine Lake Invitational last weekend and the young team continued to show signs of growth. The team picked up a few wins in pool play but lost in the first round of the tournament. The event was held on Friday, September 7.     Our first JV game at home was what we as a coaching staff needed to see from our young guys. The boys came out with the right mindset and intensity going into the game.     The Dodson-Whitewater Harriers ran three runners at the 2018 Malta Athletic Club Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, September 8, at Marian Hills Golf Course in Malta. The Harriers were comprised of Sam Main, Ireland Best, and Hannah Hanley.
