Emotions were as high as the flags when the lights came on at the Trafton Park Arena Saturday for the Craig Mangis Memorial Rodeo. John P. Rock of Saco, Mont., fell asleep peacefully in death the evening of Friday, September 4, 2020, at the age of 71 in Glasgow, Mont. John was born on August 30, 1949, in Omaha, Neb. He moved to Saco in 1966 and graduated from Saco High School in 1967, where he met his high school sweetheart, Judy Knudson. They married on December 14, 1969, and have three wonderful children. Return of the Swift Fox is in the news. Northern Phillips County residents have been reporting an increase in the Swift Fox numbers for several years. About five years ago a UPS driver came in the door of the PC Museum with a quizzical look and asked if we had a mounted Swift Fox?
