University of Montana researchers, pharmacists, nursing students and physical therapy students will be coming to the Malta City Hall in Malta on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 1 and 2 to conduct free health screenings for all participants as part of a study on wildfire smoke and how it affects human lungs. We will be starting up an informal (some discussion and some instruction) grief support group this fall. Our once a week meeting is to provide support for those who have lost a loved one. It will be held at the Malta Senior Citizen Center on Wednesday mornings from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. beginning the 25th of September.
