The Malta Mustangs' 2016 campaign came to a bitter end last Saturday, October 29, as the team fell 54-13 to the Lincoln County High Lions in Eureka. With four of five of District 2B teams moving on to the Northern B Divisionals in Shelby on Thursday after last weekend's District 2B Tournament in Malta, it is not surprising that Malta advanced to the next round but how they did it.
