    The Malta M-ettes volleyball team saw their season come to an end at the Northern B Tournament in Shelby last Friday after they lost their elimination game against the Cut Bank Wolves in four matches. Malta also lost to the Fairfield Eagles in the opening round. Choteau eventually won the Divisional Tournament by defeating Fairfield 3-1. Shelby won their third place match against Glasgow 3-0.     The North Country Mavericks 2016 campaign ended at the Eastern C Divisional last Friday, as the team fell to Jordan in the elimination round. The Mavericks also lost to Circle in the opening round of the tournament. In the team’s loss to Circle, the scores were 25-12, 25-12 and 25-9.
