The Dodson Coyotes and North Country Maverick junior high teams squared off for the second time in two weeks last Friday, November 10, in Whitewater. Gone are the days the junior high sporting equipment leaves a lingering smell throughout Malta Middle School. Responding to an unusually frigid fall in Northeastern Montana, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is able to offer an upland gamebird hunting opportunity earlier than usual at the Bowdoin National Wildlife Refuge in Malta, Montana. The Refuge currently allows upland gamebird hunting within designated areas of at Bowdoin Refuge.
