All three Phillips County Class C schools were able to get points on the board at the Cal Wearley Memorial Meet held by North Star in Havre last Wednesday, April 10. The Malta Mustangs and M-ettes competed at the Havre Invitational last Saturday in Havre. The M-ettes scored 69.33 points and were second out of seven teams competing in the varsity meet. Billing West High School student Halle Sawicki, the grand-daughter of Lanny and Jeanne Icenogle of Saco, continues to improve at every powerlifting competition. In October of 2023, Sawicki, age 15, competed in the Drug Tested World Championships in England.
