The Malta Athletic Club Invitational was held at the Marian Hills Golf Course last Saturday.     October 4 saw the Dodson-Whitewater Harriers at the always tough Havre meet. Class A, B, and C schools were in attendance, giving the Harriers their first look at some of the western teams. For the men, Jeret Warren placed 11th with a time of 17.55. Jeret was 60 seconds behind a strong Browning athlete who claimed first, and was the first Class C male runner to cross the finish line.     The Malta M-ette Cross Country team took on the always windy course at the Havre Invitational Cross Country Meet last Saturday. They placed third as a team with 123 points. The overall winner of the Varsity girl's 3 mile race of 66 runners that took place at the campus of MSU-Northern was Josie Braaten of Glasgow who ran the hilly course in 19:28.
