Whitewater improves at Cal Wearley

The Whitewater Penguins had a strong showing at the Cal Wearley Invitational in Havre last Wednesday, April 9.

The ladies team placed twelfth out of 20 teams and was led by junior Kourtney Simonson. Simonson told the PCN last week that she needed to improve her first lap time, it seems like she did on her way to her first-first place finish of the year in the 800 meter run. Her time was 2:33.40 seconds, nearly 2.5 seconds faster than her first meet.
