One Nation, Under God

Loring News for week of July 2, 2014

Quite the week for weather! Big down pours of rain, huge winds, bright sun at different times all week!

A photo of Kyle Wasson’s was chosen for US Farm Report with Tyne Morgan’s crop watch on RFD TV for Sunday! His was one of three that was chosen for the nation! He had a picture of his winter wheat crop. Congratulations, Kyle! It was a beautiful picture!

A wonderful surprise for Barbara Cowan and Dixie Stordahl was when Arlene Bradley Hatleburg and her daughter Wanda stopped to visit! Arlene grew up on the Bradley Place north of Loring in the 50’s and 60’s. Wanda was on a geneology fact finding trip with her mom and cousins.

The Annual Loring Picnic was held on Monday. The park looked wonderful! The playground equipment got a good christening on the first event! Mad props to the crew that put the equipment together: Dave Clark, Kenny Clark, Matt, Trace and Beau Simonson, Brittany, Tyler and Patrick Anthony, Braden Sankey and Jay Blunt! Great job, guys!

The Loring Club decided on the raffle prize for the Fall Dance. We are raffling a $500 gift certificate to Cabella’s. Club members will be hitting you up to buy a ticket soon!

Remember the reason we celebrate on the fourth of July! Our Independence Day, Freedom and equality for all! Have a safe weekend!
