Whitewater got almost two inches of needed rain. Anderson’s Ranch up north got almost six inches in a short time. It caused flooding. Reminds me of a song, “Six Feet High and Rising.” Hay and oats were flooded.

Get well wishes to Arrabelle McMullen.

Congratulations to Ray and Arrabelle McMullen on their 50th anniversary.

Mindy Perdue, local teacher, has had company. Her Mom, Joy Mindiola, was here from Alaska. Mindy’s aunt, Julie Zimmeran, was here from Central Point, Oregon. Mindy’s grandmother Judy Piele also was here from Central Point, Oregon. Judy and Julie are twins.

Judy Piele stated, “We loved the beautiful rolling hills and plains of Whitewater, Mt. We also enjoyed the hospitality of the people and at the North 40 cafe and bar.”

Linda Berg and I went to the Fort Peck Theater on Sunday. It was the “Buddy Holly Story.” It was mostly music and it was really superb.

Elaine Erickson had been to Washington visiting family.

Whitewater Creek is running high. It flooded when ice and snow melted back in 1949 and the little wooden bridge collapsed! Wow! Hope that doesn’t happen again. Don’t worry be happy!
