Dodson AMX and Speedway revved for Sunday

The Dodson Speedway and AMX is revving motors and preparing for action at the upcoming Dodson Fair. The AMX races will be held Sunday, August 3 following the tractor pull. The event will be at the grandstand/arena and everyone is encouraged to come support local AMX race enthusiasts.

The Fair Board approved the reduction in registration for early registration and at this time there are quite a few commitments from local car owners as well as from those out of town.

As with all AMX events, if there are any vehicles still running a Powder Puff race will be held and there are three local women who are tossing their $5 registration fee in at this point, with the possibility of a driver from North Dakota as well.

Pre-entry fees will be $40 and can be paid to Millie Kindle, Treasurer or Kari Hould, Secretary. We hope to see your faces in the seats at the grandstand when the rubber and dust meet with speed and old friends.
