Phillips County Historic Walk slated for September 14

Plan to enjoy a Sunday afternoon reminiscing with four early pioneering Phillips County citizens. The Historic Walk setting will be at the H. G. Robinson House & Gardens, Malta, MT on September 14, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.

In addition to the Historic Walk, everyone is invited to tour the extensively refurbished H. G. Robinson House & beautifully landscaped H. G. Robinson Gardens while partaking of light refreshments. Drawings and closure of the Silent Auction Historic Book Sale will also occur.

Welcoming you to the 2014 Phillips County Historic Walk will be Fred J. Robinson (Orvin Solberg); Dr. Hamilton (Dr. Jim Curtis) ; H. G. Robinson (Barry McNamara); Julia Ereaux Schultz (Bridgett Ereaux).

The Historic Walk fundraiser is being sponsored by the Phillips County Historical Society and Malta Dirt Daubers Garden Club. Tickets will be available on September 14 at the Phillips County Museum and the H. G. Robinson House & Gardens. Admission will be $10.00 per person with proceeds to benefit the H. G. Robinson House & Gardens.

A celebration dedicating the Antique Modes of Transportation Museum structure will immediately follow the Historic Walk. This dedication is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. and will feature the new structure donated by Jane Ereaux in memory of Ezra “Ezzie” Ereaux, Phillips County Entrepreneur. The structure will house two antique modes of transportation – 1930 Ford Roadster, purchased in Malta, MT and donated by Duane Cassidy of Gt. Falls, plus the Zortman to Malta stagecoach, A free barbecue and entertainment by Ken Overcast, provided by Jane Ereaux, will follow at the H. G. Robinson House & Gardens.
