One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News for the Week of August 27, 2014

There was a meeting at the White water Post Office led by a Federal employee. The Post Office may be closed one hour earlier. Patty Young is Postmaster.

Thank you to Pat Murdoch for writing the North Whitewater News, or, as it used to be known, Plainsview News. This is good as I don’t get much news from there.

Linda Berg and Sister Laura went to Billings for appointments. They stayed with Janet Brown – my sister.

Welcome to new residents who moved into Steve Young’s house! I have not met them yet, but I understand she is Courtney Hellie’s mother. I’m sure I will enjoy the Hellie grandchildren.

8-year-old Tava Anderson (Tanner’s little girl) sang in a music competition in Great Falls. Patty said she sang beautifully and has a real good voice.

Cindy Eklund, her mother Lois and son – age six – brought me home from Malta on Thursday. Thanks Cindy.

George and Monique Taylor went to the Country Western concert in Billings! They said it was great.

Patty Young went to the Paul McCartney concert in Missoula and said it was wonderful and packed about 25,000 fans.

The Wishers have been busy working on fixing up Jim Murdock’s house. The school bought it for the new teacher. I understand she is Cindy Clark’s relative, but I have not met her yet.

Margie Olson went to a wedding in Idaho recently.

Mindy Perdue returned from a vacation in Alaska. She said she is preparing for school to begin.

Thanks to Ray McMullen Repair for digging a trench, or ditch, eight feet deep to bring the water pipes from the well to the house. Now I need a plumber to hook up the lines in the basement. Wow, things are complicated, but I’m not giving up now.

Anyway, I just looked out the window at the Bridge Going Nowhere that is sitting on a hilltop. Whatever.
