Great Plains Dinosaur Museum

The Great Plains Dinosaur Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, and from 12:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Community Birthday Calendars

Malta Middle School is selling the community birthday calendars again this year. If you have not been contacted and wish to purchase a calendar for $10, please call the middle school at 654-2225 or contact a middle school student. The deadline is September 26.

Revitalization Committee

9-17. On Wednesday, September 17 the Malta Chamber Revitalization Committee Meeting will be at noon at Stretch’s. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Malta Trails

9-18. On Thursday, September 18 at 6:00 p.m. m - Beginner Kayak Excursion on Nelson Reservoir at Lot #100 - Bill and Laura Pankratz Cabin. Bring life vests and snacks. Any questions contact Laura Pankratz 390-3460.

Ranchers Stewardship Alliance

9-19. Ranchers Stewardship Alliance is hosting an informational meeting on September 19, 2014, P.C. Library Basement at 7:00 p.m. Bob Sanders of Ducks Unlimited and Loren Ruport of MT Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program will provide interested farmers and ranchers information on their programs, easement options and answer any questions with regard to their programs.

Forage Workshop

9-22. On Monday, September 22 at 2 pm in the Library Basement, the Extension Office in coor-dination with area Veterinarians will be hosting a meeting to discuss quality issues with forages. Specifically, there will be a discussion about problems with mold, degraded protein and other issues in forages. Examples of testing parameters, cost of testing, and proper sampling methods will also be covered. For more information, call the Extension office at 654-2543.

PEO Pizza Party

9-23. Junior and senior high school women in Phillips County please remember to RSVP to DollyAnn Wilcutt at 654-2451 for the pizza party to be held at MHS Cafeteria on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 6:00 pm.

Malta Kiwanis

9-23. Malta Kiwanis will meet at 6 p.m., Tuesday, September 23 at Westside Cafe. Kiwanis Lt. Governor Dr. Charles Wilson of Glasgow will install the new officers. Dr. Wilson will also present a program about his recent trip to Japan where he attended the Kiwanis International Convention. The public is welcome.

PC Transit Elk Bugle

9-25. We will be taking a bus to watch the elk bugle on Thursday, September 25. We will provide sandwiches, water and a free ride. Leaving Malta at 4 p.m., so will pick up riders at their homes starting around 3:30. We will be taking a maximum of 16 people, it is open to the public and on a first come, first served basis. Bring binoculars and cameras if you desire. You need to call the office at 654-5301 to reserve your seat.

Dodson Speedway

10-4. On October 4-5 is the Dodson Speedway Benefit Race; mark your calendars!

Rosary Rally

10-11. Please join us in praying for our nation on October 11, 2014 at noon. The local Public Square Rosary Rally will take place at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Malta.
