Shyla Smith joins Malta school to teach English

Malta High School's newest English teacher, Mrs. Shyla Smith, comes to us from Darby, Montana. A graduate of the U of M in Missoula, she has a B.A. in Secondary English Education for grades five through high school. She will be teaching sixth grade reading and also sophomore and junior English. Although the sixth graders are currently reading a textbook of short stories, in the near future they will move on to reading and analyzing various novels.
